LOL, my name is spelled wrong so often that sometimes I don't notice! Thanks for your comments Davina, I agree, it is very similar to saying no and opening a door to YES.

Loved this read, Wendy.

Saying good-bye with love has a much better feel to it than the alternative. I couldn't help but think, as I was reading the last couple of lines, that this is a similar perspective to saying "no" -- on the other side of the coin it's the same as saying "yes" to yourself. And in your analogy here, saying good-bye to those things that hold us back is just like saying "hello" to more of our "real" selves.

That was an awesome story. In a week, I have been a mum for 20yrs. 8weeks ago I became mother to my 6th child and I am feeling the way you feel about your puppy... and I too am prioritising better and family is at the top of my list of to do's... I love my 6 kids and my wonderful husband and friend.

I don't feel old at 41 (sunday just gone) and yet while I hold my 8week old daughter and chat to my 20yr old son...I am wowed (can't think of any other word to describe it) by how much it feels like yesterday I was holding him in my arms, my first born and just smitten and love struck with this new little person... I still adore him :) as I do each of my children... I am still thinking about just one more...7 is my favourite number.

Well, I want to go look at my sleeping daughter now... she's so cute!

Now that you mention it, I think Mr. Risk is in cahoots with the Universe. Several months ago my roomie Pete started investing in the stock market again. Not a big thing to some, but he'd just gotten a new job after being out of work for two and a half years. He wanted to rebuild some of the loss suffered during that time.

It was then that the meaning of Risk sunk in for me. I realized I was playing things too safe myself. I decided to embrace Risk as my word for the year and went ahead and designated that as one of our weekly topics.

I loved Wendi's post today and how Mr. Risk wheedled his way into her life and gave her clarity on her other "office assistants". The real topper on the cake was Cindy's story.

Yup, it's going to be an interesting year! Congratulations to you Cindy and thank you Joy for your bottomless supply of JOY!
