Hi Wendi,

The story of the two little boys is SO true. We do not have to wait to be happy or to be grateful.

And I also agree, if we surround ourselves with people who have a positive attitude they can lift us up and continue to remind us all we have to be grateful for, even when life isn't going as we planned.

Hi Wendi - What a beautiful story about the two boys. And it's so true that being around happy people can be so uplifting.

What I'm grateful for right now is that Josh seems to be recovering from his accident and may be going back to school sometime soon.

When you find yourself in a position where you're worried your child might die - it makes all the other things you've worried about seem so silly.

Wendi, I felt this in my soul, really deep in my soul. I recently went through a battle for the happy. Is life always easy? Of course not, but even in the midst of challenge, it is possible, even life saving to grab hold of the light and hang on for dear life. The funny thing about happy is that when you allow it to penetrate every fiber of your being, when you defiantly choose gratitude over negativity you really do change your circumstances. That situation that you face changes when you change your story about it. The older I get the more I appreciate that the biggest battle I will fight is the one that rages within.
