Wendi,

I am so sorry that you have lost this friend, although it is sad I hope you have many many memories to keep with you always. I'm sure she appreciated it more than you will ever know!

Wendi,

I'm speechless, thinking of your friend, your own strength, and friends of my own. Thank you for sharing this. I have to go give some extra hugs now.

I wish you peace,

Kelly

Oh Wendi, friendship is such a precious gift indeed. I spent the last couple of days with a friend who's in need of some support, encouragement, courage while she finds her way back on to the path. She's done the same thing for me many times in the 10 years we've known each other. I can't help thinking it's some kind of beautiful dance we do together, that giving and taking of unselfish love.

I'll be thinking of you and your friend.

Thanks for reminding us of what's important.

Wow! Life is difficult. Yet, as you point out, there is a bittersweetness to every challenge. That's all I'm going to say, because your last two sentences say it all.
